Evolve is InMode’s hands-free body contouring platform. Wearable applicators strap onto the abdomen, arms, thighs or buttocks and deliver bipolar radiofrequency energy (Tite) to heat the deep dermis and fat layer, electrical muscle stimulation (Tone) to activate and strengthen underlying muscle, or both together (Transform) in a single session — all without you having to hold a handpiece in place.
Forma uses the same bipolar RF technology in a handheld applicator, moved continuously over the treatment area to gently and gradually heat tissue for smoother, tighter-looking skin on the face or body. It is often the softest, most spa-like of the three, with no special preparation and no downtime.
Evoke takes the hands-free approach to the lower face and neck. It was the first FDA-cleared hands-free device for facial remodeling, using two applicators — one for the cheeks and jowls, one for the neck and under the chin — to hold a steady, controlled temperature at the deep fibro-septal network, remodeling tissue for a more defined, contoured profile.

What is the difference between Evolve, Forma and Evoke?
All three use InMode’s bipolar radiofrequency technology, but they are built for different jobs. Evolve is hands-free and adds electrical muscle stimulation, best for larger body areas like the abdomen or thighs. Forma is a handheld applicator for gentle, general skin tightening on the face or body. Evoke is hands-free and purpose-built for the lower face and neck.
Can these be combined with Morpheus8?
Yes. Morpheus8 works at a deeper level with fractional RF microneedling, while Evolve, Forma and Evoke work on the skin’s surface and underlying muscle without needles. Many patients combine them as part of a complete plan — we will help you decide what is right for your goals at your consultation.
How many sessions will I need?
Most patients see a series of 4 to 8 sessions spaced about a week apart, with results building gradually as collagen remodels over the following weeks to months.
Does it hurt?
No. Most patients describe a warm, massage-like sensation from the RF energy, and a tapping or muscle-contracting sensation during Evolve’s EMS phase. There is no need for numbing cream.
Is there any downtime?
No. Skin may look mildly flushed for a short time afterward, but most patients return to normal activities immediately.
